A Message From Frank Stronach.
The coalition is inspired by Frank Stronach, one of Canada’s most successful Entrepreneurs. He started a one-man tool and die shop in a rented garage and turned his company into Magna International Inc., the world’s most diversified auto parts supplier with more than 400 manufacturing operations and R&D centres in 30 countries employing 180,000 people with over $40 billion in annual sales.
He has served on the boards of numerous corporations and organizations, including the NASDAQ stock exchange corporate governance board, and has been an economic advisor to a number of Prime Ministers. Frank Stronach believes the key to Magna’s success was its unique profit sharing formula, which made every employee a partner in profitability. He believes a new Canadian Economic Charter of Rights, including the right to profit sharing, will lead to greater productivity and raise incomes for Canadian workers.
