A team dedicated to improving the life of all Canadians

A non-political, non-partisan coalition to improve the lives and fortunes of all Canadians

The Stronach Foundation for Economic Rights: A Coalition of Concerned Citizens was founded in 2023 by Canadian entrepreneur Frank Stronach and is based on the concept of an economic charter of rights that he established at Magna International Inc., one of the world’s largest automotive companies.

The purpose of the organization is to bring together Canadians from across the country who are concerned about the economic direction of the nation. It is a non-partisan coalition that aims to appeal to Canadians of all political viewpoints who believe in the need for a strong economy that benefits all – owners, managers, workers and investors.

The primary objective of the organization is to advocate for the implementation of an Economic Charter of Rights.

The philosophy behind the coalition is that people are not truly free unless they also have economic freedom. The Economic Charter of Rights is a framework for creating a society where citizens have the opportunity to become economically free and businesses have the opportunity to grow and prosper.

The Inspiration Behind the Citizen Coalition

The coalition is inspired by Frank Stronach, one of Canada’s most successful Entrepreneurs. He started a one-man tool and die shop in a rented garage and turned his company into Magna International Inc., the world’s most diversified auto parts supplier with more than 400 manufac-turing operations and R&D centres in 30 countries employing 180,000 people with over $40 billion in annual sales. He has served on the boards of numerous corporations and organizations, including the NASDAQ stock exchange corporate governance board, and has been an economic advisor to a number of Prime Ministers. Frank Stronach believes the key to Magna’s success was its unique profit sharing formula, which made every employee a partner in profitability. He believes a new Canadian Economic Charter of Rights, including the right to profit sharing, will lead to greater productivity and raise incomes for Canadian workers.

Years from now, future generations will look back on this movement and see it as a turning point in our country’s history, and they will be grateful for the work we did.

Skyrocketing debt. A growing income gap between the wealthy and Canadian workers. Falling living standards.

If we do not address these problems, we are placing the future prosperity of Canadians at risk.

The organization is heavily influenced by seven key principles that Frank Stronach has embraced throughout his highly successful career. These include the need to avoid debt, reduce overhead, and give workers the right to accumulate wealth through profit participation.

The Stronach Foundation is a federally registered not-for-profit organization that will be funded with seed money provided by founder Frank Stronach. The foundation has retained the services of Deloitte Canada to provide accounting, tax filing and auditing services.
